The streets and cities are now lit and I beam whenever I see them.
I went to Teddington (well, frankly, to this one long street) to check it out, but the stores there mostly only open at ten or eleven o'clock (they are no chain stores, but these little independent ones which are on the one side wonderful to explore because they're individual, on the other side, there is no one inside but one lurking sales person who hovers over you, asking every seven seconds whether you need any assistance. So, as I was there in my three-hour-break (which is from half past nine to half past eleven), I didn't really get to go to the stores and it was kind of wasted time because in the broad daylight the decoration does not look really good. Anyway, I visited Kingston, all lit up, and it is just wonderful. Also, to keep you up with my writing progress, I am not doing so well with post-editing (simply because it is boring), but I am working on a horror story now that I really like and the Marionettes are on, too, so we'll see... On Friday my best friend is coming and I am looking forward to exploring the cities together with her, as being on my own all the time starts to suck a bit. We're going to go up to London, Kingston, probably Richmond and Teddington, and I will keep you posted! Cheers!
